Robert C

I have not had any formal guitar lessons. I taught myself by listening to songs.
In hindsite, I wish I had taken lessons from guitar teachers who could offered a sytematic approach to the instrument.
But,here I am!
I have played in many bands over the years covering many styles of music.

My first band was Nobody's Children, formed in Winnipeg when I was 16 years old.
We recorded 3 original songs.
I was then asked to join Black Cat, a local rock band. We enjoyed a large following of fans for 4 years.

I helped by brother move to Vancouver, British Columbia and fell in love with the city.
I moved there shortly after, and reside there now.

It did not take too long to find a musical group to join.
Vocal harmony has always been a love of mine and I joined the vocal group Silhouette.
With excellent 4 part vocal arrangements, it was a dream come true.
This lasted for many years.
While still a member of Silouette, I started up a rock band called Brickyard.
This tight musical ensemble migrated into a Creedence Clearwater Tribute band, which still performs today.
If you want to, you can listen to songs here from my bands over the years.
